HR Specialist / Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an HR Specialist/Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department. The role involves assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll support and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Post job advertisements, schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
• Screen resumes, assist with candidate selection and coordinate new‑hire orientation.
• Maintain and update employee files and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts and letters, and provide information for payroll processing.
• Support HR projects including performance reviews and training sessions.
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment, track absences, vacations and leaves, and generate related reports.
• Respond to HR‑related queries, help organize employee engagement activities and support conflict‑resolution efforts.
• Ensure HR policies are current, assist in audits and stay informed about labor laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Prior experience in an administrative or HR role is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Discretion in handling confidential employee information.
• Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
