HR Officer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an HR Officer to join our construction project team. You will manage human‑resource functions that are specific to the construction environment, ensuring the right talent is recruited, onboarded, and supported throughout each project phase.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers to identify staffing needs for every project stage.
• Source, screen, interview, and hire skilled labor, engineers, project managers, and support staff.
• Facilitate onboarding, including training, paperwork, and tool allocation.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflicts.
• Organise team‑building activities and recognition programmes to boost morale.
• Handle disciplinary matters in line with company policy and legal requirements.
• Assist in performance‑management processes such as goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, attendance records, and performance documentation.
• Prepare regular HR metrics reports covering turnover, recruitment effectiveness, and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven HR experience within the construction industry or a similar sector.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements for construction.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving mindset and discretion in handling sensitive issues.
• Willingness to relocate anywhere in the country.
