HR Generalist

About the role

UNObank is seeking an HR Generalist to shape an exceptional employee experience across payroll, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations. You will partner with employees, leaders, and external partners to deliver people solutions that enable teams to perform at their best.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time while ensuring statutory compliance.
• Administer employee benefits, manage enrollments, claims and vendor relationships.
• Support compensation programs, salary benchmarking and rewards initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee data and HR records across multiple systems.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment activities, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Build talent pipelines and support onboarding programs for new hires.
• Handle employee relations matters, investigations and case management.
• Monitor Philippine labor law updates and ensure organizational compliance.
• Drive HR projects, employee engagement initiatives and continuous‑improvement efforts.
• Leverage data and reporting to inform HR decision‑making and simplify processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience covering payroll, compensation, recruitment or HR operations.
• Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience in banking, fintech or other highly regulated industries.
