HR Generalist – Investigations & Case Management

About the role

TaskUs is seeking an HR Generalist focused on Investigations & Case Management. The individual will act as an independent contributor responsible for conducting internal investigations and managing employee‑relations cases, ensuring consistent policy application and legal compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct thorough, impartial investigations into harassment, discrimination, bullying, and policy violations.
• Oversee case lifecycle from intake to resolution, including evidence gathering, interviews, and documentation.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, escalating high‑risk cases to HR leadership.
• Serve as a resource on company policies and ensure investigative actions comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of investigations, interview notes, evidence, and final reports.
• Collaborate with managers and HR team members to support fair resolution processes.

Required profile

• Prior experience conducting workplace investigations.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
• Ability to act impartially, maintain confidentiality, and communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent analytical and risk‑assessment skills.
