HR Generalist (Car Dealership) – Bauang, La Union

About the role

The HR Generalist will lead day‑to‑day human resources activities for a busy car dealership in Bauang, La Union. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure smooth recruitment, employee relations, payroll, performance management and compliance with Philippine labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for sales, service and administrative positions, including sourcing, interviewing and onboarding.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, conduct investigations and facilitate disciplinary actions.
• Supervise payroll processing, coordinate with finance and resolve payroll queries.
• Implement performance appraisal systems, assist managers with KPI setting and track performance outcomes.
• Identify training needs and organise product, customer‑service and compliance training programs.
• Ensure all HR policies comply with the Philippine Labor Code and DOLE regulations, prepare required documentation and represent the company in labor hearings.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS) and generate regular HR reports.
• Support digital transformation initiatives within the HR function.

Required profile

• Proactive leader with solid knowledge of Philippine labor laws.
• Experience handling HR functions in a multi‑disciplinary environment such as automotive sales or service.
• Strong interpersonal skills to advise supervisors and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality.
