About the role
The HR Assistant – Employee Relations provides essential administrative and coordination support for employee relations matters. You will handle incident reports, draft disciplinary documents, maintain case trackers, and ensure confidential record‑keeping while supporting HR managers and specialists.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, log, and acknowledge Incident Reports (IRs) from employees, supervisors, and managers.
- Review IR submissions for completeness and coordinate with reporting parties to obtain missing information.
- Assign case references, update the employee relations case tracker, and route documents to the HR Manager or designated specialist.
- Draft Notices to Explain (NTEs), Notices of Decision (NODs), hearing notices, and other disciplinary communications using approved templates.
- Prepare incident summaries, chronology of events, and case packets for review and approval.
- Monitor employee response deadlines, follow up on pending actions, and ensure proper filing of all documents.
- Maintain and update the infraction monitoring tracker, flag repeat offenses, and generate case status reports.
- Coordinate administrative hearing schedules, prepare minutes, and assist with case closure.
