Hostess

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at our dining venues. The role involves welcoming visitors, managing the reception desk and telephone, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a warm smile, establish eye contact and thank them on departure.
• Manage the reception desk, answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Seat guests, guide them to their tables and introduce the restaurant’s offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the restaurant entrance, menus, flyers and magazines.
• Conduct monthly inventory checks of host‑related equipment and supplies.
• Handle cashiering duties, process billing, secure remittances and prepare daily cash reports.
• Record guest preferences and update information regularly.
• Adhere to brand standards, health, safety and hygiene policies, and ensure personal grooming meets company guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients via email and telephone.

• Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Reliability, initiative and willingness to follow company policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Cash handling and basic point‑of‑sale (POS) operations.
• Proficiency in using email and telephone communication tools.
