HOA Accountant

About the role

OurAssistants is looking for an experienced HOA Accountant to manage financial operations for multiple homeowner associations using Vantaca. The role supports boards, property managers, and residents while ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for HOAs, including AP, AR, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for HOA boards and perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Handle assessments, dues collection, late fees, special assessments, and track reserve funds.
• Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Process vendor invoices, maintain vendor records, and provide financial updates to boards.
• Use Vantaca for accounting, billing, and reporting while identifying process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in HOA or property management.
• Hands‑on experience with Vantaca.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and HOA accounting principles.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Must reside in the Philippines, Latin America, or South Africa with a stable internet connection.
