Healthcare Facilities Construction / Design Manager

About the role

You will lead the planning, design, construction, and technical delivery of new expansion clinics, relocations, renovations, and other improvement projects. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with company standards and Philippine regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee clinic design and planning from concept through construction, fit‑out, turnover and operational readiness.
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, including technical due diligence, budgeting, scheduling and quality assurance.
• Lead procurement, contractor selection and performance management.
• Secure all required permits and approvals (PTC, LTO, LGU permits) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, landlords and suppliers to achieve high‑quality outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and smooth project turnover to operations.

Required profile

• Licensed Architect or Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering.
• 8‑10 years of progressive experience in design and construction of medical, healthcare, commercial or retail facilities.
• Proven experience with Philippine DOH requirements, building code, fire code, accessibility law and healthcare facility standards.
• Strong background in contractor procurement, cost estimation, budgeting and quality assurance.
• Excellent coordination, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Revit/BIM (advantage).
