Head of Standards & Quality Assurance

About the role

The Head of Standards & Quality Assurance leads the division responsible for defining, implementing and monitoring quality standards across the organization. This senior role ensures that products and processes meet defined thresholds of acceptability, driving efficiency, profitability and a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce quality and reliability standards in collaboration with product managers and senior leadership.
• Plan, develop and coordinate group-wide quality assurance programs.
• Monitor turnaround times (TATs), conduct program reviews and support major audits of programs and vendors.
• Oversee multiple QA projects covering development, installation and maintenance phases.
• Assist in budgeting, SWOT analysis, OPEX and CAPEX planning for the QA function.
• Manage a small team, including performance reviews and employee relations.
• Engage with customers through controlled test groups to refine product content and drive profitable iterations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading quality assurance or standards functions.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and risk mitigation.
• Ability to collaborate with technology managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in budgeting, cost‑benefit analysis and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
