Head of HR – Philippines

About the role

The Head of HR for the Philippines will lead the HR agenda across the country, integrating multiple HR functions to meet evolving business needs and drive organisational effectiveness. Reporting to the Global HR Director in Singapore, this senior‑most HR leader will sit on the regional SEA leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Philippines leadership team and General Manager to develop and execute people strategies, workforce planning and organisational design.
• Lead and integrate the local HR team, collaborating with global Centres of Excellence to deliver a high‑performance, inclusive culture.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labour laws, manage employee‑relations cases, and oversee HR policy implementation.
• Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management and learning initiatives, and build university partnerships for early‑career pipelines.

Required profile

• Degree in HR or related field with professional HR qualification.
• Extensive hands‑on experience in HR generalist roles within a global, matrixed organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour legislation and employee‑relations processes.
• Previous experience in technology or engineering sectors is a plus.
• High personal integrity, ability to handle confidential information and influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven problem‑solving, communication and independent work skills in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
