Group Travel Consultant – Luxury Destination Weddings

About the role

Wedded Wonderland is seeking a tech‑savvy Group Travel Consultant to drive flawless execution of high‑volume international group bookings for destination weddings and luxury celebrations. You will act as the operational engine, turning complex logistics into seamless, white‑glove experiences for couples, planners, and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of group bookings, from quoting to post‑trip reconciliation.
• Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to create master PNRs, secure group air space, and issue tickets in compliance with airline guidelines.
• Research and negotiate optimal rates with airlines, hotels, land transport providers, and local partners.
• Serve as the primary contact for couples, guests, and planners, handling amendments, cancellations, and emergency disruptions.
• Build detailed itineraries, transport manifests, and digital guest movement plans with 100% data integrity.
• Collaborate with venues, tourism boards, and premium hotel clusters to streamline operations and enhance on‑site experiences.
• Maintain accurate booking records, track deposits, manage payment timelines, and produce post‑event financial documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Group Travel Consultant handling complex air and land logistics.
• Strong understanding of group contract terms, attrition clauses, and financial liabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight service level agreements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a major GDS platform (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo).
• Familiarity with CRM or event‑management tools.
• Advanced knowledge of group ticketing, fare construction, and queue management.
