Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead financial management, governance and control for Dana Asia across multiple countries. Reporting to the CEO, you will ensure robust financial reporting, treasury, donor compliance and investment oversight to support the organisation’s growth and accreditation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial management of all entities, producing consolidated group reports in multiple currencies.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, consolidated statements, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Lead annual budgeting, financial planning and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Manage donor‑funded and grant‑funded projects, monitoring expenditure against budgets and agreements.
• Supervise the Social Business Fund and loan portfolio performance.
• Design, implement and continuously improve financial systems, policies and procedures.
• Strengthen financial governance to meet DFAT ANCP accreditation requirements.
• Provide technical financial leadership and build capability within project teams and country offices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of senior financial management experience.
• Proven experience preparing consolidated accounts across multiple entities and currencies.
• Experience managing donor‑funded programmes or international development finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, governance and risk management.
• High integrity, attention to detail and excellent analytical abilities.
