Global Logistics Senior Analyst

About the role

3M is seeking a Global Logistics Senior Analyst to lead analysis and support of logistics and transportation data on a worldwide scale. You will act as the primary point of contact for end‑user queries, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with internal controls and trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analysis and maintain logistic & transportation transactional data.
• Provide first‑line support for global end users, answering how‑to questions and resolving process‑related issues.
• Analyze negative trends or delays, identify root causes, and propose proactive improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Global Logistics to implement process, tool, and performance enhancements.
• Deliver training to stakeholders and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge‑base, work instructions, and training materials.
• Offer data‑driven recommendations to support management decision‑making.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and proactively identify and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with manufacturing plants and distribution centers worldwide, handling escalations as needed.
• Respond to order‑status enquiries from Customer Service and Business Logistics Services globally.
• Ensure logistics processes comply with internal controls, trade compliance, and customs regulations.
• Monitor and report process risks, meet SLA targets, and support system deployments and testing globally.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret logistics and transportation data.
• Experience providing global user support and training.
• Proven track record of identifying root causes and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work closely with manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and cross‑functional teams worldwide.
• Knowledge of internal controls, trade compliance, and customs regulations.
• Capability to manage escalations and meet service‑level agreements.
• Excellent documentation skills for maintaining knowledge bases and training materials.
