Intercompany Outbound Analyst

About the role

3M is seeking an Intercompany Outbound Analyst to manage international order processing and support export compliance across its global network. The role involves collaborating with supply chain teams, subsidiaries, and logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage intercompany orders using SAP, COMS, IOMS, Salesforce, BPCS, Lotus Notes and other systems.
• Coordinate with source locations, supply chain, and 3PL freight forwarders to ensure timely export of international orders.
• Support export regulations and ensure compliance with source country and international policies.
• Handle inquiries from 3M subsidiaries regarding product availability, order status and expedites, and resolve escalations.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs and job aids, and provide backup support to the Intercompany team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Team player with ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Flexible to take ad‑hoc assignments such as system migrations or continuous‑improvement projects.

Required skills

• SAP experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (formulas, macros).
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Lotus Notes, COMS, IOMS and BPCS.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
