Global Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Global Accountant to join our finance team, supporting multiple entities worldwide. The role involves month‑end close, reconciliations, compliance and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for global entities and ensure timely month‑end and year‑end close.
• Perform bank, balance‑sheet, pre‑payment and accrual reconciliations; maintain fixed‑asset registers and depreciation.
• Prepare and review intercompany reconciliations and invoices across regions.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, local statutory requirements and internal policies.
• Assist external audits and support tax filings.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement or automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a US multinational with multi‑region exposure.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with an ERP system.
• Familiarity with business‑intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI (desired).
