General Manager – Real Estate Development

About the role

The General Manager provides overall leadership for an assigned development, aligning business strategy, commercial objectives, and project execution. This senior role works with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects that meet financial targets, capture market opportunities, and create exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall performance and success of the assigned project, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Lead project planning, positioning, and implementation from concept to completion, recommending product offerings and development approaches.
• Ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining quality standards and driving continuous improvement.
• Manage financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and profitability, and review major commercial decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Leasing, and Customer Experience teams to maximize project performance.
• Represent the project with senior leadership, government agencies, investors, and business partners, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
• Build and lead high‑performing, cross‑functional teams, promoting a culture of accountability and employee development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in real estate development or related project management.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale projects profitably and on schedule.
