General Accountant (AU Accounting)

About the role

KDCI Outsourcing is looking for a detail‑oriented General Accountant to support financial operations across multiple business entities. The role involves handling general ledger reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end closing, and preparing financial reports while ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements for several entities.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and process month‑end and year‑end journal entries.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and analyse freight and logistics expenses.
• Prepare and lodge Australian tax returns such as BAS, payroll tax, superannuation and FBT.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and the development of financial controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).
• Familiarity with accounting software and Australian taxation regulations.
