GBS Lead Billing Associate

About the role

The GBS Lead Billing Associate is responsible for solving problems through interaction and communication with internal and external customers. The role prepares, consolidates and audits billing reports and charge adjustments, maintains client records, and ensures systems are up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Identify system and process anomalies, determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
• Develop, assign and monitor action plans to ensure issue resolution and proper escalation.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase efficiency of billing activities.
• Support access requests for new employees and tailor training to individual needs.
• Audit employee work for accuracy and KPI compliance, applying necessary controls.
• Communicate with internal and external customers on complex national and international billing issues.
• Participate in projects as directed by management.
• Provide rapid or preventive solutions for the systems used in billing operations.

Required profile

• Technical, technologist or professional degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities, time‑management and complex problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and handle diverse requests.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in billing, accounting or related financial functions.
• English proficiency of at least 80% with fluent verbal communication.
