Fundraising Coordinator

About the role

The Fundraising Coordinator will lead PETA Asia's fundraising initiatives across Asia, focusing on major gifts and events while managing donor relationships and reporting to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement fundraising strategies through direct response, events, and donor cultivation.
• Identify and research prospective major donors and develop solicitation strategies.
• Maintain donor profiles and ensure database accuracy.
• Collect and analyze fundraising data, reporting results to the Vice President of International Fundraising and PETA U.K./U.S.
• Organize and attend cultivation, retention, and solicitation events throughout Asia.
• Recruit volunteers, secure in‑kind contributions, and manage vendor relationships.
• Stay updated on fundraising techniques, especially for the Asian market, and on animal‑rights issues.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of fundraising experience in Asia.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and donor relationships independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Asia and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Supportive of PETA’s philosophy and able to advocate professionally.
• Commitment to the organization’s objectives.
