FullStack Java EE Developer (Cebu)

About the role

The team is looking for a Full‑Stack developer to design, build and maintain Java Enterprise Edition web services. You will work closely with business analysts and senior engineers to translate requirements into reliable, high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily team meetings to review progress and discuss upcoming tasks.
• Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, document and maintain web service applications.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code following established standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues, analyse root causes and implement enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with teammates to share knowledge and improve development practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field (completed or in progress).
• 2–3 years of professional experience as a Full‑Stack developer using Java EE.
• Experience with at least one modern front‑end framework (React.js, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
• Proven ability to build web applications and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence) and common design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ and unit‑testing tools like JUnit, Mockito or PowerMock.
