Fullstack Developer – Japanese Bilingual

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for an experienced full‑stack developer who is fluent in Japanese to design, develop and maintain server‑side functionality for interactive web and mobile applications. You will work across multiple platforms, including CMS, eCommerce, CRM, cloud infrastructure and CDNs, supporting clients in their hybrid cloud and AI journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate web services using Java, Ruby, Perl, HTTP, SOAP and REST.
• Integrate databases with applications through APIs, ensuring efficient data exchange and storage.
• Manage page flow and user interactions to deliver seamless experiences across platforms.
• Collaborate with CMS, eCommerce, CRM, cloud and CDN teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (any field).
• Proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking, listening) – JLPT N1‑N3.
• Willingness to work client‑dictated shifts (day, mid or night) and in IBM locations (Quezon City or Cebu).

Required skills

• Programming languages: Java, Ruby, Perl, Python, Bash, Git.
• Web technologies: HTTP, SOAP, REST, web services development.
• Experience with databases, CMS, eCommerce, CRM systems.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, scalability and deployment, and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
