Fullstack Developer – Japanese Bilingual

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for a bilingual Fullstack Developer who can work on client‑focused projects in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will combine strong server‑side development skills with Japanese language proficiency to deliver integrated web and mobile solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate web services using Java, Ruby, Perl, Python and related protocols (HTTP, SOAP, REST).
• Integrate databases with applications through APIs, ensuring efficient data exchange and storage.
• Orchestrate page flow and user interactions across multiple platforms to provide a seamless experience.
• Collaborate with Content Management Systems (CMS), eCommerce, CRM, Cloud infrastructure and CDN environments.
• Maintain code repositories and automation scripts using Git and Bash.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Japanese language proficiency at N1‑N3 level (N4‑N5 may be considered).
• Willingness to work client‑based schedules (day, mid, or night shifts) and be assigned to IBM locations in Quezon City or Cebu.
