Financial Controller

About the role

Hive Health is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial control and finance operations, overseeing general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and compliance. You will ensure the integrity of financial records, manage cash flow, and support the company’s rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
• Oversee general accounting, month‑end and year‑end close, and produce accurate financial statements.
• Lead accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring timely payments, billing, and reconciliations.
• Drive process and system improvements, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Support internal and external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax, regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams and manage cross‑functional projects.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools.
• Ability to implement process automation.
