Financial Audit Analyst

About the role

The Financial Audit Analyst will support the audit team by executing audit plans, verifying financial records, and delivering timely audit reports. This position involves hands‑on testing of cash, inventory, and accounts receivable, as well as data analysis to identify trends and control issues.

Key responsibilities

• Execute financial audits according to the audit plan provided by the immediate supervisor.
• Prepare and submit audit reports promptly, ensuring all findings are closed based on the agreed action plan.
• Verify figures, documents, and account details, and provide financial control insights through data collection and analysis.
• Conduct cash counts, including petty cash, unremitted cash sales, expense receipts, and cash replenishment requests.
• Perform inventory checks of accountable forms (e.g., SI/DR, CR/PR) and reconcile with log books and SAP records.
• Monitor accounts receivable by generating B4‑5 listings, reconciling balances, identifying credit deviations, and confirming overdue customer accounts when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in financial audit or accounting (internal or external) is an advantage.
• Honest, hardworking, detail‑oriented, and willing to travel for out‑of‑town audit assignments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for audit testing and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets.
• Working knowledge of SAP systems.
