Finance Officer – Food Service Operations

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Finance Officer to lead financial planning, reporting, and control for our Peri‑Peri Charcoal Chicken and Sauce Bar. This confidential position will support the financial health and growth of the business while providing strategic insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for the organization or assigned business units.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity to support business operations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decisions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Support cost‑management initiatives and optimise operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Supply Chain teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; CPA or professional certification preferred.
• Proven experience in finance, accounting or financial management, preferably within food service, hospitality or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards and reporting practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
