Finance Controller (AU Offshore, Hybrid)

About the role

The Finance Controller will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of the company’s financial reporting and accounting records. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this hybrid position supports the organization’s financial governance across reporting, tax, and audit functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all records.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation to maintain a reliable general ledger.
• Oversee fixed‑asset accounting, accruals, pre‑payments, and inter‑company transactions.
• Produce management reports and financial analyses for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with PFRS, BIR, SEC, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate preparation and timely filing of tax returns and regulatory reports.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits, preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
• Implement corrective actions from audit findings and strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit coordination.
• Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and local tax regulations.
• Ability to manage month‑end and year‑end close cycles.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
