Finance Accounting Manager

About the role

The Finance Accounting Manager will lead the finance function supporting the Domestic Sales team, partnering closely with commercial and field sales teams to drive financial performance, effective resource allocation, and profitable business growth. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, sales‑related accounting activities, and management reporting, while acting as a strategic business partner to Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the management of the Corporate Selling Expense Budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of financial resources.
• Direct the preparation, cascade, monitoring, and management of budgets and forecasts for the Domestic Sales organization.
• Partner with Sales leaders and field teams to identify opportunities to improve profitability, manage costs, and achieve Cost‑to‑Sales targets.
• Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support commercial and business decisions.
• Prepare and review management reports, financial performance reports, and budget variance analyses, translating data into actionable business insights.
• Monitor sales‑related financial activities, including trade investments, selling expenses, and accounts receivable, and drive initiatives to improve working capital.
• Collaborate with field sales teams to identify and reduce non‑value‑adding activities and strengthen financial processes and controls.
• Lead and develop the Sales Finance team, providing direction, coaching, performance management, and professional growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, controllership, FP&A, or sales finance.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Demonstrated business partnering experience, preferably supporting Sales or Commercial functions.
• Proven people leadership with experience managing and developing teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
