Facilities Technician – Maintenance & Operations

About the role

The Facilities Technician supports Cushman & Wakefield’s commitment to superior customer service by handling day‑to‑day maintenance tasks across our properties. You will ensure that client spaces remain safe, functional, and well‑presented while responding promptly to service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and snow removal where applicable.
• Keep grounds, common areas, and vacant units clean, operational, and safe for occupants.
• Report any maintenance concerns on vacant units, model homes, and shared spaces to the Facility Manager.
• Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and any additional duties assigned.
• Maintain and safeguard all company tools and equipment.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, trade, technical or vocational training with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and follow policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Computer literate with basic office software skills.
• Strong common‑sense judgment to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
