Engineer - Renewable Energy (Wind Energy)

About the role

Arup is expanding its Manila Energy Team to strengthen wind energy capabilities across the Philippines and the wider Asia‑Pacific region. The role focuses on technical aspects of wind technology and renewable energy principles, supporting projects from early client engagement through proposal development and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support conversion of opportunities from client engagement to proposal and mobilisation of delivery teams.
• Collaborate with utilities, system operators, regulators and developers on wind projects.
• Contribute to solution strategies, scope definition and technical excellence communication.
• Coordinate routine project assignments, ensuring alignment with multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Geology, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong technical background in wind energy infrastructure.
• Experience with wind turbine generator systems and wind farm development cycles (onshore/offshore).
• Ability to provide technical leadership and contribute to proposals and client presentations.
