Employee Relations Executive – Factory (Cagayan de Oro)

About the role

The Employee Relations Executive will lead continuous improvement of employee and labour‑relations within Nestlé’s factory in Cagayan de Oro. The role serves as a strategic partner to ensure constructive dialogue with workers, trade unions and other representatives, supporting Nestlé’s culture and compliance with corporate and local labour standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the employee‑relations strategy aligned with Nestlé’s market approach and promote open social dialogue.
• Maintain productive communication with employees, trade unions and other workers’ representatives.
• Promote understanding of Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Code of Business Conduct and Employee Relations Policy.
• Administer disciplinary cases and ensure due‑process for employees.
• Apply the CARE tool to guarantee social compliance and adherence to corporate principles, international labour commitments and local regulations.
• Support knowledge building on Nestlé policies, labour regulations, conflict resolution and social insight across the organisation.
• Ensure consistent implementation of CARE Audit and ACCORD policy, and compliance with DOLE regulations.
• Mitigate risks related to outsourcing or contractual arrangements.
• Act as internal legal consultant on labour issues and provide timely updates to management committees.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of HR experience focused on employee and labour relations.
• Strong knowledge of factory environments and relevant labour legislation.
• Proven ability to manage union relationships in challenging contexts and negotiate outcomes.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to comprehend complex issues quickly.
