Employee Relations Analyst I

About the role

The Employee Relations Analyst serves as the front‑door for ER services, providing consistent, efficient, and well‑documented operational support. The role validates incoming matters, applies categorisation and priority guidance, resolves standard transactional requests, and coordinates case and programme activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own ER intake and validation, confirming required information, identifying gaps, and establishing a complete initial case record.
• Apply standard categorisation and priority using the approved ER data dictionary and escalation rules.
• Resolve standard transactional requests through established policies, templates, and self‑service tools.
• Administer planned ER programmes such as performance‑management processes, redundancy activities, exit interviews, and involuntary separations.
• Coordinate case activity by gathering documents, scheduling meetings, maintaining action logs, and ensuring visibility of next steps.
• Support investigations operationally by preparing materials, arranging interviews, taking notes, and drafting case documentation for senior ER partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant experience in HR operations, Employee Relations support, case management, or shared‑service delivery handling confidential information.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures, templates, service levels, and escalation frameworks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case‑management systems and shared mailboxes or intake channels.
• Strong organisational skills for document handling, scheduling, and action‑tracking.
