About the role

The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Manager leads nursing services within the Emergency Department, ensuring safe, timely and patient‑centered care. This full‑time, entry‑level position oversees daily operations, staffing, patient flow and quality improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of emergency nursing care, including triage, assessment, treatment, admission, transfer and discharge.
• Monitor patient conditions and coordinate interventions with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Manage patient flow to maintain efficient and timely emergency services.
• Coordinate staffing levels and resources to meet operational demands.
• Ensure availability, maintenance and proper use of emergency equipment, medications and supplies.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized department environment.
• Support emergency preparedness and disaster response activities.
• Promote compliance with nursing standards, clinical protocols, infection prevention, patient safety and regulatory requirements.
