Electronics Technician

About the role

The Electronics Technician is responsible for ensuring that all new and returned electronic items meet proper working conditions, diagnosing faulty hardware, and performing repairs on client‑owned equipment. The role may involve on‑site field work to support customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the condition of new and returned electronic products to confirm they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose defects in company‑owned hardware.
• Repair and restore client‑based equipment that has been pulled out for service.
• Perform field visits when required to provide on‑site support.

Required profile

• Graduate of a vocational course in Electronics.
• 1‑3 years of experience repairing appliances, computers, printers, and other electronic devices.
• Knowledge of auxiliary systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical abilities and a positive work attitude.

Required skills

• Digital and analog circuitry knowledge.
• PC and laptop repair expertise.
• Basic IT networking skills.
• Ability to read and create schematic diagrams.
• Soldering and desoldering proficiency.
