Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to develop and deliver electrical system designs for building‑services projects. You will work closely with international design teams, applying BIM tools to create accurate models and ensure seamless coordination across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform load estimation, demand calculations and design power distribution systems.
• Create single‑line diagrams, lighting layouts, controls, emergency lighting and low‑voltage/grounding designs.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation, including drawings, schedules, schematics and technical reports for global project submissions.
• Use Revit MEP, AutoCAD and other BIM tools to model electrical systems and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Participate in remote coordination meetings, technical workshops and cross‑office reviews.
• Support tender preparation, design package reviews and quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Registered Electrical Engineer status.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical building‑services design.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in consultancy or engineering projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of BIM workflows.
• Familiarity with ETAP, Dialux or similar design software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
