About the role

The Department of Economics and Political Science seeks a qualified faculty member to teach economics courses for the first semester of the 2026‑2027 academic year, beginning in August 2026. This is a full‑time teaching appointment within the College of Social Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate economics lectures and tutorials.
• Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Participate in departmental meetings and academic planning.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Economics.
• Preferably prior teaching experience at the tertiary level.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
