E-Commerce Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a tech‑savvy E‑Commerce Accountant to manage monthly bookkeeping for our growing client base and help automate accounting processes using modern cloud tools. The role is fully remote, based in the Philippines, with core collaboration hours aligned to EST.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly bookkeeping for e‑commerce clients in QuickBooks Online or Xero, including transaction categorisation, bank reconciliations, COGS calculation and financial reporting.
• Run payroll, manage accounts payable and receivable aging, and generate KPI dashboards.
• Integrate sales channels such as Amazon and Shopify with QBO/Xero to ensure accurate data flow.
• Communicate with clients via dedicated Slack channels, deliver timely deliverables, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Document procedures in ClickUp and continuously seek automation opportunities.
• Monitor and improve client communication and service quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle accounting experience, including bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or Xero.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and communicating effectively through written channels.
• Solid understanding of inventory and cost‑of‑goods‑sold accounting.
• Passion for web‑based software, automation and independent problem‑solving.
