Duty Engineer

About the role

Seda Manila Bay is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer to join its Engineering team as a Duty Engineer. The role focuses on overseeing daily engineering operations, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all mechanical systems across the hotel property.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise engineering operations and maintenance work during assigned shifts.
• Manage the upkeep, performance, and safety of all mechanical systems and hotel facilities.
• Support the execution of preventive maintenance programs and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate with other departments to address technical concerns and facility‑related issues.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, shift activities, and inventory.
• Help monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.

Required profile

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience in hotel, facilities, or building maintenance.
• Ability to supervise shift‑based engineering activities.
• Strong attention to safety and regulatory compliance.
