Document Controller – M&E

About the role

The Document Controller (M&E) ensures that all project documentation is accurately prepared, managed, and distributed across the technical teams. This role supports the smooth flow of information, maintaining both electronic and hard‑copy records for mechanical and electrical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, number, sort, file, and store electronic copies on the server and hard‑copy documents produced by technical teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date project documents and ensure accurate information is shared with all team members.
• Review and edit records to keep them current and correct.
• Assist team leaders and engineers with administrative document requirements.
• Set up, copy, scan, and store documents; create templates for project documentation.
• Receive, catalogue, and store new documents to ensure proper filing and storage.
• Protect confidential information and documents in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents.
• Experience supporting engineering or construction teams with document control tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established filing procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word

• Ability to work with PDF files
