About the role

Radisson Blu Cebu is seeking a dynamic Director of Meeting & Events to lead its meetings and events department. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue, and elevating the hotel’s event portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth operation of the meeting and events department, ensuring the highest standards of client and guest service.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet departmental targets and improve guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop the events team, fostering a culture of performance and growth.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget, controlling costs and optimizing productivity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and deliver programmes that increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, due‑diligence requirements, and audit standards.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of proven experience in a similar meeting & events role within a luxury or 5‑star international hotel.
• Strong leadership abilities with a hands‑on, lead‑by‑example approach.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to respond promptly to guest enquiries.
