Sales Executive – Hotels & Resorts

About the role

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving room, banquet, food & beverage and ancillary sales across assigned hotel and resort accounts. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role focuses on developing new business, managing key accounts and ensuring revenue targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market rates and competitor activity to propose sales strategies that maximise revenue.
• Maintain up‑to‑date account records, validate data and produce weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Conduct regular sales calls, respond to client inquiries, secure contracts and promote hotel packages.
• Document proposals, contracts and event details both offline and in the property management system for cross‑departmental access.
• Assist guests promptly with requests and complaints, coordinating with relevant hotel departments to ensure service standards.
• Travel to support major groups or events across the brand’s properties as required.
• Observe and enforce safety, security and sanitation procedures within the assigned area.
• Participate in brand‑building activities and uphold company values and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality sales or a similar client‑facing role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational abilities to manage multiple accounts.
• Willingness to travel regularly to support events and group bookings.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality guest service and adhering to safety standards.
