Director, IT Manufacturing

About the role

The Director, IT Manufacturing leads all technology operations for Advanced Energy’s two Philippine factories in Cavite and Laguna. Reporting to the General Manager, the role translates business needs into IT solutions while aligning with corporate IT strategy and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full IT footprint at both sites, including infrastructure, network, OT, MES, Warehouse and ERP systems.
• Act as senior IT partner to the General Manager, feeding business requirements into corporate road‑maps for MES, ERP and other enterprise platforms.
• Lead, coach and grow the site IT team, managing staffing, performance and capability development.
• Ensure operational continuity of factory‑critical systems (MES, SCADA, ERP) and coordinate enhancements with corporate teams.
• Oversee local IT service delivery, vendor management, project execution, budget and asset lifecycle.
• Govern change‑management processes to guarantee safe, compliant production‑environment changes.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Monitor IT performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure cybersecurity, identity‑and‑access‑management and endpoint governance compliance.
• Support audit readiness, SOX compliance and safety/environmental standards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing IT operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong partnership skills with senior business leaders.
• Ability to align local execution with corporate IT strategy and governance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors and large‑scale projects.
