Director, APAC IT

About the role

Tarro is seeking a seasoned Director to lead its APAC IT function. You will own the development, integration, administration, support, and overall health of the company’s corporate technology and applications across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the IT Engineering function, overseeing both existing and green‑field corporate technology initiatives.
• Manage a global team of IT engineers, administrators, and support staff, providing clear performance feedback.
• Implement, maintain, and extend corporate productivity, security, and connectivity applications, including line‑of‑business systems.
• Foster a rapid‑iteration environment in collaboration with cross‑functional peers.
• Make final decisions on technical matters while empowering team autonomy.
• Travel approximately 20% of the time, including quarterly visits to Dumaguete, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur offices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably with regional responsibility.
• Hands‑on technical expertise combined with strong people‑management skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Manila (Pasig City) or Dumaguete with flexible hours (3 AM‑12 PM, Tue‑Sat, GMT+8).
• Ability to travel regularly across the APAC region.
