DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain our development tools and infrastructure. The role bridges the gap between stakeholders and developers, ensuring smooth, automated delivery pipelines and reliable production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them for development teams.
• Automate and improve development and release processes.
• Develop integration software for internal back‑end systems.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for production incidents and resolve technical issues.
• Create scripts to automate visualisation and reporting.
• Assist with query and index tuning, database optimisation, and data model design.
• Administer Linux/OS servers and manage Couchbase server installation and configuration.
• Conduct log analysis and monitor clusters using Prometheus, Grafana and Splunk.

Required skills

• Coding and scripting experience.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and automation tools.
• Database experience, especially Couchbase.
• Linux/Server administration.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk.
