DevOps Engineer – Automation Platform (Ansible & Azure DevOps)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a cross‑functional squad that builds and operates a centralized automation platform using Ansible Automation Platform and Azure DevOps. You will work closely with developers, architects, and international platform teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operate a centralized automation platform based on Ansible Automation Platform and Azure DevOps.
• Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that enable teams to manage RHEL‑based systems and middleware independently.
• Create, standardise, and maintain Ansible playbooks for RHEL, JBoss/WildFly, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, Podman, PostgreSQL and NGINX.
• Automate installation, configuration, deployment and lifecycle management of application and web‑server environments.
• Ensure automation meets operational, security and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with international developers, architects and platform teams.
• Participate actively in squad and chapter activities, contributing to shared standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Practical experience with Ansible‑based automation in enterprise or platform environments.
• Hands‑on experience with RHEL systems and middleware/web‑server operations.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, international DevOps or platform teams.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into scalable automation solutions.
• Solid understanding of automation, infrastructure and platform operations (AAP, Ansible Tower, Azure DevOps).
• Basic scripting experience with Bash or Python.
• Strong independent, structured working style and quality mindset.
