Design Engineer (Night Shift)

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a Design Engineer to join its manufacturing team in Quezon City. The role works night‑shift onsite and is responsible for turning sales sketches and customer concepts into detailed specifications and drawings that enable cost‑effective production.

Key responsibilities

• Convert sales order sketches and customer concept drawings into complete packages of specifications and production‑ready drawings.
• Collaborate with design consultants, estimating, production, and purchasing teams to ensure the final product matches the customer’s vision.
• Assist the sales team with pre‑order illustrations and analyze orders for correct material, quantity, and usage.
• Source and requisition unique vendor items and communicate with sales staff and clients to resolve design questions.
• Draw construction details and provide unique solutions to design challenges following best manufacturing practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience using AutoCAD (2017 or later).
• College‑level education in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to sketch ideas by hand and read construction documents, architectural plans, and project specifications.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, solution‑oriented outlook.
