Deputy General Manager – Agriculture, Logistics & Transportation

About the role

The Deputy General Manager will lead day‑to‑day operational and commercial performance for a designated business cluster within a diversified social enterprise. Based in Taguig City, the role translates strategic direction into actionable plans, ensures operational excellence and prepares the incumbent for future General Manager responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned cluster (agri‑business, logistics & transportation, or related areas) to meet business objectives.
• Monitor operational performance, implement corrective actions and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Translate corporate strategies into operational action plans and lead transformation projects.
• Support financial targets by monitoring budgets, controlling expenditures and identifying efficiency gains.
• Ensure compliance with relevant agricultural, transportation, environmental and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to enhance customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and organizational capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing operations within agriculture, logistics, transportation or related sectors.
• Strong track record of delivering financial and operational results.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage large‑scale projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
