Data Analytics Lead (FinTech/Start-up)

About the role

First Circle, a fast-growing, profitable neo-bank in Southeast Asia focused on SME lending, business banking and payments, is looking for a Data Analytics Lead. The role reports directly to Senior Leadership, offers high exposure to the executive leadership team and focuses on projects with real business impact rather than repetitive work. It suits candidates who enjoy variety and tackling new challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Restructure analytics tables so they are consistent across the firm, easy to retrieve and quick to use for building new metrics.
• Diagnose sales funnel issues and work with the sales team to improve processes, including AI-automated solutions where possible.
• Build a churn-prediction model to proactively engage customers at key moments.
• Run price elasticity analysis and design and run experiments to test hypotheses.
• Automate weekly and monthly reporting to surface actionable insights.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional experience, ideally in fintech, a tech company or a fast-paced environment, with a strong track record of delivering results.
• At least 1 year of experience leading and managing teams.
• Strong structured problem-solving skills and an execution-driven approach that turns solutions into business outcomes.
• Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in dynamic, high-growth environments.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in data and analytics tools, with strong SQL required.
• Data modeling and table structuring for efficiency and usability.
• Python preferred.
