Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

As a Security Analyst you will join a dynamic cybersecurity team, monitoring and responding to security incidents to protect client data and systems. This position offers the chance to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other tools, analyze incidents and assist with resolution.
• Participate in incident response activities, including identification, containment, eradication and recovery, and document actions taken.
• Support vulnerability management by identifying, assessing and helping remediate client system weaknesses.
• Stay current on emerging threats, collect and analyze threat intelligence, and contribute to security awareness training.
• Assist with compliance reporting and maintain security documentation.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and IT teams on security projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls and antivirus software.
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages, e.g., Python or PowerShell.
