Cyber Defense Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Cyber Defense Specialist to join our Cyber Defense Department. Reporting to the CISO, you will work within the Security Operations Center, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management and Security Engineering teams to protect our enterprise and commercial services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations of high‑severity, complex cyber incidents across global environments.
• Analyze malicious behavior, reconstruct attack chains, and identify root causes and defensive gaps.
• Develop and enhance detection use cases, correlation rules, dashboards and monitoring content.
• Support continuous improvement of SOC operations, incident‑response workflows and escalation processes.
• Conduct forensic triage and evidence analysis on Windows, Linux/Unix, macOS, cloud and SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during incident handling, containment, eradication and recovery.
• Produce technical documentation, executive summaries and incident reports.
• Maintain and update incident‑response playbooks, runbooks and SOPs.
• Mentor SOC analysts and junior responders, and identify automation opportunities.
